About us
Two focus areas. One mission.
Limoja exists to unlock health data and insights for NHS operations teams and researchers — enabling AI-powered decisions and higher productivity. Our founding team have worked within, researched and advised NHS organisations, and know what AI can unlock.
Mission
Unlock hidden value in public health and government data.
data.limoja.ai is our live beta portal, built and run by two always-on agentic AI teams under human oversight: one maintaining a warehouse of 400+ public health datasets, the other seeking novel, statistically sound findings on issues like waiting times.
Use AI to improve NHS productivity.
We have already identified patterns behind process bottlenecks across trusts, and are scoping productivity-focused agentic pilots with UCLPartners in west London trusts.
Why it matters for the UK

Why Limoja
The barriers — and why this needs to happen now, in the UK.
Frontier AI is delivering. The bottlenecks are no longer in the science. The 10 Year Health Plan calls for a shift from analogue to digital: static reports into live, referenced insight; manual processes into agentic workflows that return staff time to patient care; rented, closed platforms into AI the NHS owns, not rents.
Barrier 01
The regulatory bottleneck
It currently takes six years on average for a medical device to reach MHRA, UKCA, CE, or FDA clearance. Quality-by-Design is rarely embedded from inception — it is bolted on late, when retrofitting compliance is most expensive. Our platform embeds GxP rigour, traceability, and audit-ready evidence from the first commit.
Barrier 02
The technology barrier
Productivity with AI is not a matter of tool usage. We must navigate the specific cognitive abilities of each person and evolve every individual precisely — AI that complements cognitive strengths rather than competing with them. PACE is what we built for this: practice-based, adaptive, with open-published metrics.
Barrier 03
The skills barrier
Most of the senior expertise needed for regulated-science translation is locked inside large organisations. Our model embeds matched senior expertise inside ventures as working team members, not advisors — built to evolve into long-term commitment.
Barrier 04
The cost barrier
Per-seat SaaS pricing and rented, closed platforms put AI out of reach for exactly the organisations with the most to gain. Open-source software and open-weight models on commodity hardware remove the per-seat bill — and the lock-in.
Team
Lean by design.
Limoja is intentionally small. The work — building infrastructure that bridges frontier AI and regulated science — requires a tight team with deep judgement, not a large team with broad coverage. The leadership combines twenty-five years of regulated-industry data and AI transformation experience with academic anchors at Oxford and Cambridge.
We are recruiting senior delivery roles through 2026 and 2027. If your career has been built in regulated life sciences, join us →
